Description: Terry Fung (Sze Shing Fung) (he/him/his) is currently a third year undergraduate student studying Contemporary English Studies at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. He is passionate about education and aspires to be an English teacher in the future. He believes that being an educator is more than teaching students, it is also about improving society by cultivating future leaders. “We give what we take” is one of Terry’s mottoes. While he has been fortunate enough to receive proper education in Hong Kong, some don’t. This motto has always served as a reminder to not only help privileged students, but more importantly the underprivileged ones. Therefore, he has accumulated years of experience in various educational fields in Hong Kong, such as a voluntary programme that aims at helping new immigrants from mainland China. With such aspiration, he hopes to continue to be engaged in the educational field and to contribute to international communities at the same time.
