Description: Qilin Huang is a senior student in Sun Yat-sen University. As a student major in Journalism, she has a great passion for storytelling and has developed strong interest in social innovation, which focuses on new strategies, concepts, ideas and organizations that meet the social needs of different elements. She has developed her strong writing and interviewing skills as a journalist of BottleDream, the most popular Chinese media platform in social innovation. She cares about education and loves working with kids, which makes her excited to intern in 826LA, a non-profit organization dedicated to support students at their age between 6 and 18 to develop their creative and expository writing skills. As an intern, she works with teachers to inspire their students to write. She also brings her interview and storytelling skills into the personal statement project to help high school students discover themselves.
