Simultaneously, her community in Bangladesh was experiencing an influx of Rohingya refugees giving rise to a refugee crisis in a country struggling with poverty resulting in lack of access to clean water, food, medication and basic human rights at the refugee camps that she experienced first-hand. All of her experiences have motivated her to find solutions to developing well-integrated sustainable communities with access to human rights. She hopes to learn the current developments and innovations on human rights through active participationwith NGOs in U.S to develop skills to bring back to her communities in Hong Kong and Bangladesh.
