Description: Mengyu is a third-year graduate student studying law at Sun Yat-sen University. She is a self-motivated student who is focused on achieving her academic goals. Mengyu participated in the 12th ICRC International Humanitarian Law Moot Court and won first prize as the first counsel in the team. She has conducted research and wrote reports on teachers in rural areas and in 2019 conducted a review of legality of environmental legislation in Guangdong Province. Mengyu looks forward to bringing her idealism and passion to the program and learning from what the U.S. judicial system or education does to raise social awareness of the law, especially in the community or through NGOs.
