Didi Cao is a senior professional in the field of philanthropy and social welfare. She currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors at the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Charity Foundation. She is the co-founder of Buydeem Technology (300824.SZ), a global small-appliance and kitchenware brand. Didi began her full-time philanthropic career in 2015. She previously served as a member of the UN SDG Action Campaign, where she promoted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by building partnerships with local governments. She has also held leadership roles at the One Foundation and the China Global Philanthropy Institute. Didi is an advocate for equal education and women’s lifelong growth, she published her first book on these topics in 2018 and a second in 2020. She is a member of the Guangdong Provincial Writers Association and the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. Didi holds a Bachelor of Laws (Social Work) from Sun Yat-sen University and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University.
