Albert Chen has served as Trustee of the Board of the Lingnan Foundation since 2011. Mr. Chen is the founder and Executive Chairman of the Telamon Corporation headquartered in Carmel, Indiana. Founded in 1985, Telamon’s goal is to simplify business, specializing in supply chain solutions for telecommunications, business transactions and industrial solutions – assembly, kitting and wire harness manufacturing. Telamon operates in thirteen locations – ten domestic and three international. Telamon, the Greek word for support, has grown to an $805 million telecommunications company with over 1,300 employees in 2015. Mr. Chen is also the owner of Telamon Enterprise Ventures, LLC which provides energy management and telehealth services. Mr. Chen is the founder of Asian American Alliance and the America China Society of Indiana, a nonprofit trade organization designed to build trade relationships between Indiana and China. He has served on the board of the International Center of Indianapolis, Butler University and Purdue University’s Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, and as Commissioner for Indiana Integrated Public Safety Commission. He also serves on the National Minority Supplier Development Board. Mr. Chen is a graduate of the Executive Minority Business Program at Tuck School of Business, and he received an M.S. in Mathematical Sciences from Portland State University as well as an LL.B. from National Cheng-Chi University in Taiwan.
