Description: Jiayi Lu is a third year undergraduate student majoring in Social Work at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. She is very determined and considerate that she strives to fight against discriminations and stigmatizations existing in our society. Her experiences as a leader and a volunteer at various student organizations related to social work have developed her strong cross-cultural communication skills. Additionally, her internship experience at Family Integrated Centre of Shadong Street prepared her with project management skills in coming up with effective strategies to execute various social group works. As part of the Lingnan W.T. Chan Fellows Program, she would like to practice her creativity and artistic skills through art therapy and art-related community projects.
