Description: Delfina is a first-year grad student in medical anthropology at Sun Yat-Sen University. With an interdisciplinary academic background in anthropology and philosophy, she is deeply interested in emerging new health and the living challenges in a post-COVID-19 era. She is also interested in the topic palliative care among young patients of terminal diseases. She highly values international communication, believing that practical participation in the real world may be the only way to shorten the distance between people with very different cultural backgrounds. That’s why she cherishes every opportunity for international exchange, and why she is excited to be a 2021 Chan Fellow.
