Description: Cham Yin TING (Terra) is a 3rd year undergraduate student majoring in Philsophsohy at Lingnan University Hong Kong (LUHK). She is a passionate individual who strives to arouse people’s awareness towards the reformation of the education system. Students are losing their passion because they can not pursue their own ways by the standardizing education. As one of the founders and member of LUHK Student Union Fu Tei Bookstore and Philosophy Society, she attempts to promote the flexibility and thinking methods in Philosophy among secondary school and university students for the sake of making them re-acquire curiosity to learning. She is an action-oriented individual who participated workcamps to assist in protecting the environment. Her international experience led her to be open to challenges and she is eager to learn from others. She believes that learning is always a process of life transformation instead of information accumulation.
