Description: Chen Qi is a second-year graduate student majored in translation at Sun Yat-sen University’s School of International Studies. She views community service as an effective approach to build a more meaningful relationship with the world, and hopes she can do more to help promote social equality and accessibility of resources for disadvantaged groups. Blessed with an opportunity to experience the NGOs-led movements taking place in the U.S. through her internship at Causa Justa: Just Cause (CJJC), she intends to learn from their advanced models and view the situation on her motherland from a different perspective so as to guide her future practice in community service.
